The old Central Retail Park has been empty for over a decade. Working with the Rochdale Development Agency and Rochdale Borough Council as part of their major £400m town centre regeneration plans, we’re planning to transform this brownfield site and create a buzzing new neighbourhood. This is the first place where we’ll be delivering our new Neighbourhood concept. Designed to breathe new life into town centres, it goes beyond just building new homes, it’s about creating proper communities.

We’re planning to create over 200 homes for rent with a mix of one to five bed houses and apartments. These will be stunning design-led homes with beautiful architecture that are a challenge to out dated and uninspiring housing. With modern, open plan layouts that maximise space, they’ll all be super sustainable
with solar panels, smart energy saving tech and electric
vehicle charging.

All houses have their own private terraces and some apartments will have balconies but the scheme will focus on community with stunning open landscaped spaces and fantastic outdoor facilities.

The site is a short walk from the town centre, the Metrolink and Rochdale’s main railway station, with six trains an hour into Manchester city centre, which is just 15 minutes away.

Our consultation closed on Friday 4th June 2021 – thanks for having your say on our vision for Neighbourhood Rochdale.

Your feedback will help us shape the plans before we submit a planning application to Rochdale Council later this year.
